Swimsuit Slimdown For Summer
It’s just about time to head out for some outdoor fun, maybe at the lake or poolside! Today, Dr Oz did an episode on how to look and feel your best in your swimsuit regardless of what size you are! Find out how to fight cellulite with Aminophylline cream and how to slim your shape with his swimsuit salad and drink recipes. The entire audience on today’s show were all wearing their bathing suits proudly. They didn’t let their size or shape keep them from wearing their swimsuits with pride.
On today’s show, Dr Oz had brave women come to the show wearing nothing but their bathing suits. From size 6-26, the women came prepared. (Could you have done something like this?) These women came to the show to face their worst fears ever—swimsuit season.
Dr Oz asked the audience to raise their hand if they felt insecure about coming to the show in their bathing suits. Nearly everyone raised their hands. Some of the women said that they wanted to look great in a swimsuit while others just wanted a boost in confidence. Swimsuit season can be intimidating if your not feeling confident in your body. Today, Dr Oz had some great tips to give yourself a self esteem boost and to help you feel your best for the summer time fun that lies ahead.
Swimsuit Slimdown Drink Recipe
Dr Oz invited a woman to the stage to talk about how she felt about getting into her swimsuit again for the summer. She said that she was hoping to look better in a swimsuit as well find some more energy so she could work out more. Dr Oz had a solution and here is his swimsuit slimdown drink recipe that he shared on today’s show. Also check out Dr Oz bloating recipes on how to lose water weight from today’s show.
- 1 cup grapefruit juice
- 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of honey
Combine these three simple ingredients and drink before every meal. He said the apple cider vinegar is a great fat burner and helps your body to break down fat. Drink the Swimsuit slimdown drink three times per day before your meals.
Salad Recipe For Swimsuit Season
Another member from the Dr Oz audience came to the stage (named Mercedes) and she said that she was nervous about wearing a swimsuit to the show. Dr Oz recommended that she try this salad recipe to help her slimdown for the swimsuit season and to give herself a boost in confidence.
- 1 bunch of dandelion greens
- 1 cup of cubed watermelon and parsley
Wash and dry the dandelion greens. Then tear into bite size pieces. The dandelion greens help to keep you feeling full because of the protein content that they have. The watermelon helps you break down fats and sugar (as well as stimulate lean muscle growth) because of the amino acids that they contain. It this salad in the afternoon.
Instead of using fattening salad dressings, combine 2 teaspoons of olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste. You may also like to check out the 20 calorie Buttermilk Ranch Recipe that was on a recent Dr Oz episode.
For the salad dressing, combine 2 tsp olive oil, ½ tsp lemon juice and salt and pepper (to taste.)
Aminophylline Cellulite Cream
A woman from the audience named Emily told Dr Oz that she has trouble with cellulite in her tummy area and thighs. She would always wear longer shorts to cover up the problematic cellulite areas. Aminophylline can help to shrink fat cells and reduce the dimpling (cottage cheese appearance) in her legs. Dr Oz said to apply Aminophylline cellulite creams twice a day to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
There are tricks and tips we can do to help thin our bodies and reduce the appearance of cellulite, but if we really want to look our best (and feel more confident) a little bit of exercise will be needed. This is the Dr Oz swimsuit sculpt workout that you should do first thing in the morning.
- Grab your favorite beach towel and squat into plank position. Try to shoot for 30 seconds starting out if you can (if you can’t hold this you can go down to your knees) and try to work up to one minute.
