According to Dr Oz, we all have the power to eat yourself slim. Preparing your food the right way is half the battle. Specific food combinations work together in harmony to target the area that you would like to shape up. Big bellies, or bottoms, Dr Oz has some slim down belly and butt blasting recipes that will get you that hour glass figure that you desire!
Food Combination #1 – Avocados and Oranges for Big Bellies
Cortisol is our bodies “stress hormone”. Too much cortisol has also been attributed to belly fat. Decrease your cortisol and you can reduce your midsection. Slimming down your stomach accentuates your “assets” in other areas (nice way of saying your boobs??)
Dr Oz invited a guest to the stage named Holly and she said that regardless of what diet she tried or exercise program she embarked upon, nothing seemed to work. Dr Oz suggested eating the right food combinations to reduce her belly. He recommended combining oranges and avocados. The oranges reduce your cortisol levels in your body.
- 1 avocado
- 3 oranges
- Toss with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- dash of salt
Big Butt Food Combo Recipe – Cottage Cheese and Black Beans
Dr Oz talked to an audience member who wanted to work on her “big booty”. Her name was Latoya and she said that she used to be athletic but now her bottom has gotten too big. She said that she works out and can get toned but can’t seem to reduce the size of her big bottom. Dr Oz said the food combination of low fat cottage cheese and black beans may help her reduce the size of her butt. Listed below is Dr Oz’s slim bottom dip recipe. Dr Oz Slim Bottom Dip Recipe
- 1 Can of black beans
- 12 ounces of cottage cheese
- 3 plum tomatoes
- 6 ounces of canned corn
- Cilantro and hot sauce to taste
Slim All Over Side Dish Recipes
For everyone out there that isn’t trying to target one particular area of the body and want to slim down ALL OVER, this recipe is for you. This particular recipe contains Brazil nuts and raw onions. Dr Oz said that Brazil nuts are high in L-Arginine which helps to melt away fat. Raw onions are a natural diuretic which will help reduce bloating. Just reducing bloating caused from water weight will help you lose that “puffy look” and have you looking slimmer in a flash. I always seem to be bloated. I’m definitely going to try this recipe!
Ingredients and directions :
- 1/4 cups of chopped Brazilian nuts (toasted)
- 1 raw onion
- Add to cooked quinoa
