Veggie Pizza Recipe
Everybody loves pizza but would like to know some healthier ways to
enjoy pizza without the guilt. This is Dr. Oz “I Love Veggie Pizza” recipe :
- Whole wheat crust
- Part skim mozzarella cheese
- Pecorino Romano
- Crushed tomatoes
- Fresh Basil
- Loaded with veggies of your choice
Dr. Oz had on a speaker from Weight Watchers. She said with this pizza they replaced all of the fattening meat with vegetables full of fiber that will help fill you up.
Agave Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Dr. Oz had on a guest from Dallas Texas who loves barbecue. She says that her family eats barbecue several times per week but would like a healthier alternative. This is Dr. Oz Agave BBQ Sauce recipe
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Cup Chopped onions
- 1 Clove chopped garlic
- 3 Cups tomato sauce
- 2/3 cup agave syrup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
This is a much healther option to barbecue sauce filled with sugar. The woman from Texas sampled some barbecue chicken on the show and she said that she couldn’t tell the difference!
Tilapia Taco Recipe
A woman from Los Angeles was featured representing Los Angeles and their love for tacos. This is the recipe that Dr. Oz and a Weight Watchers spokesman gave as a healthier option :
- Instead of the fattening pork and beef they replaced it with baked Tilapia.
- Chile rubbed fish
- Corn tortilla
- Low fat sour cream
The woman really loved this recipe. She said that she never knew that healthy could taste so good!
