The Tyrosine will boost the thyroid while the greens help to activate the hormone. The smoothie also contains high levels of antioxidants which will reduce inflammation in the body. This combo makes this smoothie perfect for giving your thyroid the boost it needs :
- 1 tablespoon of tyrosine (sunflower seeds or flax seeds are great sources that you can use)
- 1 cup of greens (watercress, kale, or spinach)
- 1/2 cup of antioxidants (frozen blueberries or raspberries are great choices)
